St Helens and Bay of Fires 2

With wet and very windy start to our holidays in St Helens, we started with drive through gorgeous countryside and short walk to a very tall (around 100 m tall) St Columbus waterfall, followed by a visit to  pick your own blueberry farm, we picked nearly 3 kilos, so some of us had a great intake of antioxidants ( germs won't stand a chance!). Jumzo and kids enjoyed fishing, some simply relaxed, others had to work a bit. All attended local community music festival, where kids participated in some craft activities in Binalong Bay.
On Sun we went to explore the Bay Fires from the land as well as the water. Firstly we drove to Gardens where kids climbed over the red rocks and played in rock pools, had lunch and a swim in Cosy Corner, with rather fresh water of 16 degrees. In the afternoon we set sail again, this time on a powerful speed boat, which made kids sqeel in delight. The crystal clear water plus white sand plus no cloud in the sky gave amazing aqua effect; untouched beaches, red coloured granite rocks, all provided us with breathtaking views of the Bay of Fires, to top up the experience to got to see few playful dolphins 🐬 closed by.
