Very hot day in Hobart indeed. We started with shopping frenzy at Salamanca markets( kids used all their maths skills to manage their own spending money). Rather successful shopping except loosing 3 kids for a while, meantime dads enjoyed quiet visit to Maritime Museum. Then we parted again. Dads with Domi, Kristy, Holly, Finley and Sophie headed out to sea for a rather smooth sailing ⛵️ on the beautiful old ship " Lady Nelson", while mums with Moni, Lexi and Chloe decided to swap Woolworths grocery shopping for tour around the Hobart on double decker 🚌 , visiting old and new part of the city, Cascade Brewery, women factory, Battery Poiny with lovely English style cottages and gardens, government house and much more... We finish the day with admiring few ships around the Constitution Dock, including this year winner and a drive to the top of Mount Wellington - again extraordinary views especially on the day with no clouds at all:
Of course forgot to mention we celebrated Kev'a birthday with pub dinner, cake 🎂 and few embarrassing loud "happy birthdays " on the 6th of January.
