Today to enjoyed more driving in this beautiful place and visited few interesting places:
- Bridestowe Lavender Farm - something definetly for me and Lydia, as the rest of the group appeared hardly interested. Just the view of the long stretches of blooming lavender fields ready to harvest was mind blowing, in addition we got to learn all the information about growing, harvesting, types, producing the oil and other use of lavender flower, with aroma in the air and testing some oil on our wrists.
- Bass and Flinders centre in George Town, with replica of Norfolk Ship, we all got to walk on it as well as check all the cabins under the deck, kids definitely enjoyed it while adults appreciated history lesson from very knowledgeable but mildly cranky older guide lady:)
- Kev and Domi ventured to explore Beaconsfield Historic Gold Mine, Domi was very excited after fossicking few pieces of "gold" and Kev shared all the stories with us at the dinner time
- Seahorse world in Beauty Point - the only seahorse farm in the world, very exciting place with multiple species of see horses, breeding programme, babies and pregnant male( the only species of fauna where male carries the pregnancy and gives birth!!!) and even ability to touch a few:)
- hope Tooth fairy doesn't get sea sick, travelling back and forth to Tasmania- this time Miss Lexi lost her front tooth!
After all those adventures we arrived in Launceston for our last set up ⛺️
