Maria Island 2

Today Kev, Jon and myself started with early wake up at 5. 30 to challenge local peak called Mount Amos. With just over 2 hours we conquered nearly vertical wall, despite some slips and injuries it was definitely worth the sweat, as view over the wineglass Bay  at 7 am was amazing.
We came down just in time for another adventure. Destination: Maria Island. So we set sail again on interesting little ferry to explore pure Island. Then it was time for more walking, lucky chocolate and ice cream bribe can make children walk some serious distances. We had lunch and play on a beautiful beach, explore Painted Cliffs and Fossil Cliffs, spotted some wildlife like wombat, geese, wallabies and family of kangaroos, desperately searching for Tasmanian devils with no successs. Day finished with yummy fish and chips in Swansea.
